Well, Guild members and I tried this mission.. It's ridiculess in my eyes.
First of.. low lvl players/new players could never do this due to the high lvl and speed of the foes..
The massive damager they do and the high armor they have is ridiculess.
I am not sure what ANet was thinking with this one..
And if you do compleat it.. you get token.. WHOOPY !!!

I am sure I get replies here such as "your a noob" and "it's easy" bla bla bla.. I dont care..
ANet should think of the New Players as well.

it's definitely one where you'll have to have a proper human team to do it. But there's such a small window each time to go in and see what skills should be changed that it's hard to get the group dynamics straight. I would love for my whole guild to be on at the same time to do it, but so far I've been pwn'd 4 times trying to use heroes on this round alone.

To dervishes going in, skip the enchantments or set yourself up as a bomb, use avatar of dwayna for hex removal.

Hm, after some more pointlessly running around I left the mission map to do the quests. Very annoying. No reward whatsoever. It did not even complete.

Dang I missed the first mission. Last years rewards were Jade wind orbs. So this year no rewards??
I remember during one of the later missions greenies dropped (from bosses), it was one from the Tombs greenies (eg Victos blade).
I was so "proud" one of my first greenies, didn't know about screenies at that moment

Here it says the rewards are victory tokens. I remember from last year that reward was having to finish the missions. I was hoping that if we were to finish all missions we'd get better rewards, at the end we didn't. But we got greenies and the boardwalk prizes dropping from the sky. 'Twas fun...

Even though I just started last year, I had some cash to spend for the AFK games. But now for some reason, I'd rather keep my gold in the storage.

Read wiki on the mission.... has a bug. If after capping the first portal it still says 0 of 8, then you are bugged and might as well /resign and try again.

Well, I think they should make it a bit easier and extended for a couple day's or think of something else for the next event.. Lot of people I know having trouble with these Mission.

The missions are intended as a challenge for people with lvl 20 characters. Just because you can enter from Shing Jea Monastery, doesn't mean it's going to be for low level characters. Think of this as a temporary DoA.

A new player can still do the four quests (though they may be difficult). They can also do the Dragon Arena and Rollerbeetle Racing. The only people who would want to do something this challenging are those with lvl 20 characters.

Well, your missing the whole point I'm trying to make, players should be able to do all the 'fun' stuff during a festival and not just certain ones who have better skills/higher lvl.... It even got to the point where the groups just for with certain classes otherwise it's said that the mission is impossible to do.
